For many years we had a hierarchical organizational structure with a command-and-control fear-based leadership stye. This resulted in decision making being concentrated at the top of the hierarchy, unnecessary management positions being created, conflict among employees, and an overall reduction in creativity and innovation. Since moving to a freedom-centered leadership style and organizational design we have eliminated unnecessary positions, freed up all of our employees to be creative and innovative, and friction between employees has been largely eliminated. Our organization is now much more scalable and we’re creating a company where people love to work.
