WorldBlu Mastery Circle

The WorldBlu Mastery Circle is a unique gathering of the top leaders of the WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces™ 2009 awardee organizations. Held in Austin, TX, the WorldBlu Mastery Circle provides a highly engaging opportunity for awardees to capitalize on their elite recognition through engagement with a co-mentoring peer community. Participants focus on exchanging best practices and ideas that will further enhance and deepen their practice of organizational democracy and overall performance.

During the Mastery Circle, participants will:

  • Explore strategies to catalyze strengths and address areas of improvement through peer-to-peer feedback, brainstorming, and sharing of best practices
  • Deepen their understanding of democratic leadership techniques
  • Develop a peer-to-peer co-mentoring community
  • Learn how personal mastery translates into organizational excellence and sustainability

Who Can Participate

Up to two top leaders (C-level) from any organization on the WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces™ 2009.

Tuition Fees

Tuition for the WorldBlu Mastery Circle includes:

  • Three nights at The Crossings (priced at $135 per night if purchased separately)
  • All meals beginning with dinner on Sunday, May 3rd and ending with lunch on Wednesday, May 6th
  • Dr. Srikumar Rao’s book and six-part CD set
  • A quarterly co-mentor for the next 12 months
  • All other program materials

Registration + Deadline

The deadline to register for the WorldBlu Mastery Circle is Friday, September 4, 2009.

Registration is non-refundable but is transferable as long as it is transferred to another top leader (C-level) from the organization.

The Mastery Circle program requires a minimum of 12 registered participants.

Mastery Circle Highlights

Dr. Srikumar Rao

Dr. Srikumar Rao is the professor of one of the highest rated courses at many of the best business schools in the world (Columbia, Berkeley, and the London Business School). He was also one of the most popular speakers at the WorldBlu LIVE event in New York City last fall.

Dr. Srikumar Rao, author of Are You Ready to Succeed, will share techniques for fostering initiative, creativity, and leadership development within an organization and for achieving dramatic results on a personal level. Participants will also receive Dr. Rao’s book, Are You Ready to Succeed, and accompanying Personal Mastery six-CD set.

Enhanced Performance
In order to maximize insights from their WorldBlu List Scorecard Report™ (which all WorldBlu List 2009 awardees receive), Mastery Circle participants will have the opportunity to analyze and discuss key findings from the assessment report in order to further maximize strengths and enhance areas of improvement and growth.

Network of Co-mentors
Through guided discussions, open space dialogue, interactive sessions, dynamic peer assists, and informal activities, Mastery Circle participants will have the opportunity to learn, mentor, and network with a highly unique group of leaders. In the 12 months following the Mastery Circle gathering in Austin, participants will partner with four different peer mentors (one each quarter) from the Mastery Circle with whom they will develop a highly valuable peer-to-peer co-coaching relationship.
