| September 1, 2008 | The WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces™ opens for applications. Organizations in the for-profit, non-profit, or government sector that use democracy in the workplace are invited to apply by taking the WorldBlu Democratic Workplace Scorecard™. |
| December 31, 2008 | The WorldBlu Search for the Most Democratic Workplaces™ closes. All organizations that applied for the WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces™ by taking the WorldBlu Democratic Workplace Scorecard™ must have completed their scorecard process by this date. |
| January 1-Febrauary 28, 2009 | Organizations that applied for the WorldBlu List 2009 have eight weeks to complete the assessment process. |
| April 14, 2009 | The WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces™ 2009 is publicly announced on the third annual Democracy in the Workplace Day. |
| October 2009 | The top leader (CEO or equivalent) and employees from all organizations that applied for or made the WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces™ 2009 are invited to attend the WorldBlu LIVE conference in New York City. |
