A MANIFESTO FOR FREEDOM-CENTERED LEADERSHIP
1:
Freedom-centered leaders work to cultivate an environment that grows leaders at every
     level of an organization

2:
Freedom-centered leaders understand that one is free to the extent of their self-mastery.

3:
Freedom-centered leaders are inclusive rather than exclusive.

4:
Freedom-centered leaders make decisions based on rational, emotional, and intuitive thinking rather
     than just the “facts.”

5:
Freedom-centered leaders let principles, not personality, guide them.

6:
 Freedom-centered leaders are ego-less rather than ego-driven.

7:
Freedom-centered leaders engage in dialogue rather than monologue.

8:
Freedom-centered leaders are deeply humble and ferociously confident.

9:
Freedom-centered leaders are authentic and open rather than calculating and secretive.

10:
Freedom-centered leaders are extremely self-disciplined, but not self-absorbed.

11:
Freedom-centered leaders understand that going slow is often the quickest way to go fast.

12:
Freedom-centered leaders hold themselves, rather than others, accountable for their actions.

13:
Freedom-centered leaders interact with others as people, not objects.

14:
Freedom-centered leaders are comfortable with not having all the answers.

15:
Freedom-centered leaders celebrate and learn from their failures rather than just their successes.

16:
Freedom-centered leaders recognize the distinction between genuine authority and
”positional” power. Genuine authority is earned, not bestowed.

17:
Freedom-centered leaders understand the paradox that while no one is in charge, everyone is in charge.

18:
Freedom-centered leaders serve humanity, not their ego.

19:
Freedom-centered leaders lead from a sense of freedom and possibility – not fear and control.

20:
Freedom-centered leaders are leaders – not bosses.
